本作品は私の「観察者効果」というシリーズの中の１作です。
観察者効果とは社会科学や一般的な意味において「見られていると意識した時に行動が変化する現象」を言います。
このシリーズではキャラクターを、こちらを見ている存在(観察者)として描いています。
本作のモチーフである白沢は人語を解し万物に精通するとされる神獣で、徳のある政治者の時に出現し、病魔を防ぐ力があると信じられていたそうです。

The observer effect, as defined in social science, is the phenomenon of people changing their behavior when they are aware that they are being observed.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
In this series, characters from legends and folklore are depicted looking towards the viewer (i.e. acting as an observer).ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Hakutaku, the motif of this piece, is a divine beast capable of understanding human speech, possessing knowledge of all things. It was believed to appear during the time of a virtuous political leader and to have the power to prevent disease.ㅤㅤ
